Desmet Studio’s, gelegen tussen Artis en de Hortus Botanicus in de Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam was oorspronkelijk een legendarisch theater en later een beroemde bioscoop. Nu is het al jaren een TV-studio waar literaire radio- en TV-programma’s zoals: Brands met Boeken, Kunststof, Iets met Boeken, Knettererende Letteren en de Avonden zijn opgenomen en daarom zeer geschikt als locatie voor boekpresentaties.

Midas Dekkers, Gijs Wanders, Prem Radhakishun, Coen Verbraak, Harry de Winter, Leo Blokhuis, Judith Bosch, Frits Spits, Marion van Rooyen, Ko van Gemert, Jaap Scholten, Saskia de Jong en vele anderen presenteerden afgelopen tijd hun nieuwste boek in Desmet Studio’s.
